One of the most frequent questions I receive is about my experience with The Interior Design Institute. Whether someone is looking to pursue a career in Interior Design, wants to broaden their knowledge about design to be more intentional with their hobby or side hustle, or is wanting to do their own interior projects with excellence, the same question is asked: Would you recommend it?
I shared about my experience when I was almost finished the program on YouTube, including modules, assignments, time required to complete, and more.
I truly loved my experience learning from them. The course work is reading-heavy, with each module containing a lot of content. Plus, there is recommended additional reading that you can choose to do as well. A few videos have been added to the course to supplement the reading, but all in all, it’s a LOT of reading. The content is robust and detailed, and the assignments provide hands-on, practical experience allowing you to put what you’ve just learned to the test.
Each student is assigned a Tutor and they work directly with you, answering questions, providing feedback and grading the assignments. I had a wonderful tutor, Marieke, from Whispering Bold. She was extremely helpful and gave the BEST feedback that truly helped me along the way.
If you are wanting to learn more about the principles of Interior Design, and are looking for guidance as you hone your skill, The Interior Design Institute is a wonderful option. You are given 12 months to complete the 12 modules (many complete it sooner) and get to learn from some of the best Interior Designers in the industry, from all over the world!
If you use my link you’ll get $200 off the enrolment fee! They gave me this link last year year after many people enrolled in the program after watching my YouTube videos as a way of thanking me. It gives me a small commission in addition to your discount. 😊
If you have specific questions about the program, I’m happy to answer them for you. Feel free to leave a comment, or send me a DM on Instagram and we can chat more.
