Ever see those Instagram ads as your scrolling your feed? Well, a few months back I saw one, and it got me… hook, line and sinker! It was an ad for an online retailer, Cupshe. After investigating a little online, I discovered that it’s one of a handful of similar retailers who sell low-end fashion at cheap prices. Scary right? What if it’s a scam? What if the items arrive totally different than the pictures?
After browsing the site and landing on an adorable green dress, with a lace overlay that was on sale for $13 US! So, I read some reviews, and thought I’d give it a whirl. The worst case scenario was that I was out some of my spending money. It was a risk I was willing to take to see if this dress was as cute in person as it looked online.
Well, I am happy to report that I am beyond pleased with that purchase! It’s cute, comfortable, and fits great! I made sure to pack it for our Hawaiian vacation last month, and I’m glad I did. It didn’t wrinkle in my suitcase, and it’s a great little vacation dress. A little short for my everyday life, but I love the look of pairing it with a pair of skinny jeans or leggings too. Aaaaand, bonus points for matching perfectly with these earrings from H&M.
Oh, and I also ordered a few bathing suits off the site. Ummm let’s just say the sizing was way off! The quality and fabric of the suits were lovely though, so I ended up passing them on to some friends.
