5 Decisions You Won’t Regret

Marisa Anderson Avatar

We all have stories of regret. Instead of focusing on the should haves, could haves, and would haves… let’s make choices today that we can look back and be proud of. Here’s 5 decisions that you won’t regret making.

  • Intentional Personal Growth

True, it might be uncomfortable, challenging and down right frustrating at times, but when you look back at what you’ve faced, overcome and who you’ve grown into… zero regrets.

“When God tells you to deal with something, there’s an anointing on your life to deal with it then.” – Joyce Meyer

  • Obeying the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit

You will never regret obeying God.

Never.

  •  Unconditional Love

Sure it’s easier to pull back when you’ve been hurt. It’s also easier to pick the ready-to-go chocolate bar over the needing-to-be-prepared salad.

Being a face of Christ’s love to the world around you, regardless of the ridicule, abuse, hurt or rejection it may come with, is a decision that is so in line with God’s heart that it simply can’t be regretted. Even when it hurts. It’s a right choice.

Those who chose to love unconditionally have long-term results that healthy relationships are made of.

  • Forgiveness

Ouch. Sometimes it hurts simply just saying the word. Forgive.

Forgiveness releases you, not your offender.
Forgiveness closes the door to bitterness.
Forgiveness is the mark of a true Christ-follower.

  • Kindness

“Have courage and be kind.” – Cinderella (2015)

Hold the door for a stranger. Smile when you pass someone on the street. Let that car merge into your lane on the way to work. Small, random acts of kindness can have a far reaching impact, sometimes greater than you’ll ever discover on this side of eternity.

How about you? What are other choices you can make that you won’t regret? I’d love to hear from you!

Great thoughts. Another thing that I never regret is taking the time to workout. On the mornings I don’t workout there is often regret for sleeping in and definitely regret when I hop on the scale. But no matter how tired I can be I never regret getting out of bed an hour earlier to take care of my body! Thanks for the reminder of perspective.
